Sunday Oct. 14th

Just...weird to think that tomorrow I don't have to go to the studio. I will have to, to give back the security keys and fix up whatever weird screw up happened with my latest time sheets.
I still have stuff to bring back to. Eh, what can I say, I had 5 years of accumulating stuff over there!
Also on the program tomorrow: send stuff via courrier, bring pages to be photocopied (archiving some Avatar material), drawing comics, one hour of room clean up at least...
That's like a full time job!

Enough with my boring life schedule. Time for Water Tribe pages- and I get to thank alexds1 for one of her comments- it triggered a slightly different scenario than I had in mind, and I think it will work better. More work for me, but it will work better.

I love the little club as an expletive marker. c: ♥

Hehe, both Zhao and Arluk share the same "swear words".
I wonder who taught who.

**cheers you -- and Zhaoka -- on! **

Lao had better pretend that he's lost his memory...
Oct. 14th, 2007 07:48 pm (UTC)
Two people losing their memories in one story? Naaaa...
But you can count on Lao on trying to pull the old charming act at some point.

"It would have been easier to set this up if I could firebend."
Awww, poor Zhao!

AUGH OH CRAP OH CRAP that's Lao not Zhao, what're they gonna do? How is he gonna escaaaaaape!?
Oct. 14th, 2007 10:06 pm (UTC)
Yeah, it's a bitch to find one fire source and then run around with a torch.
The water benders will play their role: keep those ships in one spot. The rest is up to Zhao.

Has any of Zhao's plans ever gone perfectly right? Nope. And it looks like it will continue to be that way.

Thanks! Hehe, I prefer it when Horuk keeps his sentences short and to the point. Ah well, gotta talk more sometimes.

Uh oh . . .

I do love it when a plan falls apart interestingly. Poor Zhao, it was all working. Great stuff!!!
Oct. 14th, 2007 10:03 pm (UTC)
It's always fun to make Zhao's life difficult.
Oct. 14th, 2007 10:52 pm (UTC)
Good luck with getting everything organized! I hope everything goes well :)

LOL really nice misconception there by the Water Tribe, this is getting really interesting! Love the little club in the curse word! :D

I have sooo much crap! Good thing my roommate has offered to transform my room into a storage space for a year. It will help.
Guess the water tribe will learn- Zhao's plan tend to fail.

Just read pages 122 to now in one go, and whoo what a ride!! This is awesome. I can't wait to see how it ends.
Oct. 14th, 2007 11:30 pm (UTC)
Holee frik it is true! I just passed page 140. Eeeep!
I wonder how long it will take me to end this. I mean, I know where I'm going (do I?), I just don't know how long I'll need.
Oct. 14th, 2007 11:18 pm (UTC)
Oh ADS, always making things more complicated... but this does make for quite a story! It's continually exciting, and I never know what's gonna happen next. Also, really dig how cinematic these sequences are.

Hope all your work stuff goes well!
Oct. 14th, 2007 11:34 pm (UTC)
It wouldn't be as fun if it was less complicated, hehe.
(as long as I don't get myself all confusticated in the process...)
Thanks- hope I can manage to juggle everything.

Sweet! The pages are great. Superb action poses and expressions.
You rock!
Oct. 15th, 2007 12:42 am (UTC)
Thank you ever so much.
I am having much guilty fun doing these.
Oct. 15th, 2007 01:03 am (UTC)
Zhao's loss of firebending forces him to play things a lot smarter now. Oh wait, I guess what he's doing now isn't technically "smart," but it's still cleverer than anything he would have thought up before. :) I love this comic, it just keeps getting better all the time.
Oct. 15th, 2007 01:18 am (UTC)
Guess he did have to rely on other things than his firebending since he awoke. He had to change and adapt.
Many many thanks- I hope I can keep up the pace 'til the end of part 3.

Yay XD Lao was just pulling an Iroh the whole time, I should have guessed.

I like that the expletive includes a water tribe club!
Oct. 15th, 2007 12:54 pm (UTC)
He's pulling a half-Iroh. He's really got some troubles left from that hit. Guess it helps making his act more believable.
Oct. 15th, 2007 06:18 am (UTC)
Just when I was getting real excited! Zhao's plan gone awry and Lao's a traitor. Nice! Good luck clearing away your stuff!
Oct. 15th, 2007 12:56 pm (UTC)
Lao's a traitor to everyone but himself. Nothing new to him ;)
Thanks, I'll need the luck!

He's going to be more careful next time he laughs...make sure there are no suspicious icebergs around.
Oct. 15th, 2007 03:19 pm (UTC)
Heh. Somehow, I just knew this would go wrong... but really, when has one of Zhao's ideas ever gone according to plan? Meh, he's tricksy enough to get out of it alive... and anyway, he's the main character. It wouldn't be much of a resolution to let him die during his own escape plan.
And poor Zhao's lack of firebending... *Sighs* It's neat to see how he's adapted though - he's using more defensive tactics than offensive now.
Lastly... *cackles at Lao* That's really all I have to say on that. I can't wait to see what develops there.
Oct. 15th, 2007 08:48 pm (UTC)
You guessed totally right- Zhao's plan never ever go right. Guess it wouldnt be much of a resolution to let him die...but it would be one way to end the story, mwahaha!
