RIP Richard Wright

One of the founding member of Pink Floyd has passed away.
I will play Dark Side of the Moon in his memory.
:(
Gotta get used to losing artists I listen to a lot- no one's getting any younger. It will be very very sad the day Bowie is gone! Waaaah! Do not like thinking about it.
Must think positive thoughts somehow.

Nooooo ;A;

Eventhough I'm not the Pink Floyd generation, they really made some really really great songs. I'm sad to hear this. ;; 3;;

*goes to listen to some Pink Floyd songs too*

I'm not quite Pink Floyd generation either, but the very first tapes (no cds yet at the time) I ever bought of a band was them.

I only have it in vinyl, so can't give it a listen, as they no longer manufacture those players. RIP, Richard Wright.

That's truly a pity :__( My dad was the one to introduce Pink Floyd to me when I was a child, and I've liked them since that. I feel sad :(

I add my voice to the "David Bowie can't die" sentiment. XD

Though I am not that old, I have the curse of liking a lot of older music, so at least half of my favorite artists are dead or getting close to it. :P

As a theater person, I don't even want to think about the day Stephen Sondheim dies.

Bowie, die? Pluuuuuuuuuuuuuuease!
Dont' be silly, Rufftoon! Bowie can't die. The highwaisted tights he wore in The Labyrinth compressed his internal organs with such force as to preserve them for the next thousands years. So, don't be sad.

lol Bad thought: Zhao as Jerrith. lol Zhao in tights...I am a sick sick puppy, aren't I? o.O

Re: Bowie, die? Pluuuuuuuuuuuuuuease!
Not just the tights, but the wig and make up!
Zhao-Jareth would be scary.
